Why does my table look broken in the preview?

The most common cause is a missing or malformed divider row. Make sure the second line of the table is dashes separated by pipes, with at least three dashes per column.

Can I have multi-line content in a single cell?

Pure Markdown table syntax does not support it. The standard workaround is an inline HTML tag where you need the line break. Our renderer accepts inside cells in both PDF and Word output.

How wide can a table be in PDF output?

Tables auto-fit the printable page width. If you have many columns or long content, cells wrap and the text becomes smaller. For very wide tables, consider exporting to Word instead and adjusting column widths there.

Are tables sortable in the PDF?

No — PDFs are static documents, not interactive spreadsheets. If you need sortable data, the HTML export or a real spreadsheet is a better fit.
