How do I open a link in a new tab?

Pure Markdown has no target attribute. The standard workaround is to inline an HTML tag — our renderer accepts that inside Markdown source.

Are anchor links case-sensitive?

The anchor slug generated from a heading is lowercase. Anchor references (#some-heading) are case-insensitive in most renderers but lowercasing them is safest.

Do links in the PDF show the actual URL?

By default the visible text is what you wrote, not the URL. If you want the URL printed, write it explicitly: e.g. "Vercel (https://vercel.com)". Many print-friendly templates do this automatically — ours does not, to keep the output clean for non-print use cases.

Why does my link text contain literal brackets in the output?

Usually because the renderer did not see a valid URL right after the closing bracket. Check for a missing opening parenthesis or a space between the bracket and the parenthesis.
